Meet at the end of South Karori Road at 10am. We’ll be releasing seedlings from tall grass before they disappear completely. We’ll provide a light lunch at 12:30pm. Gloves provided.
Releasing sessions aren't particularly glamorous, but they're a critical part of a successful planting season, so we need to do them (and need a few people to help us, each Thursday at 6pm).
To sweeten the deal we offer a special trip to people who come along three times. This coming March we'll be visiting the elusive Karapoti Rata - New Zealand's largest, and well over a thousand years old! It's always fun to get a glimpse of the giants Makara Peak will harbor in a millennium or two.
Meet at the top end of Koru at 6pm. We’ll provide the gloves and saws and we’ll be done by 8pm.
